A Columbus man was arrested early Sunday after police say he shot a gun outside of the Shanty Shack.
Kristian Rivera, 29, was charged with discharging a firearm within city limits around 3 a.m. at the 4475 Warm Springs Road bar, Columbus police said.
Rivera told officers that he was arguing with several men in the parking lot of the bar when a large crowd began approaching him. They wouldn't go away when he asked them to, and he fired several shots into the air with a 45-caliber pistol, police said.
