The marching bands at Auburn University and the University of Georgia were selected by ESPN and Paramount Pictures as two of the top eight in the country. They will compete in a competition promoting the DVD release of the latest Indiana Jones movie.
Other school marching bands chosen were LSU, Florida, Texas, Southern Cal, Oklahoma and Clemson.
The bands will be videotaped playing the theme song from the movie. The perfomances will be online where fans will be able to view them and vote for the best.
Each school band will receive $5,000 and the first place winner will receive $25,000.
A production crew will be at Auburn today to videotape the band
