Teresa Hedger, a physical science teacher at Veterans Memorial Middle School in Columbus, has been selected as an Amgen-NSTA Fellow in the National Science Teachers Association New Science Teacher Academy.
She was chosen from hundreds of applications from across the country to participate in NSTA's year-long professional development fellowship program.
She will participate in web seminars and receive financial support to attend and participate in NSTA's 2009 national conference on science education in New Orleans.
