LaGrange woman gets Rosalynn Carter award

Jan Treadwell of LaGrange, Ga. has been named Georgia's Para-Professional Caregiver of the Year by the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving.

Treadwell, an employee at Help at Home Inc. in Newnan, Ga., got the award for her work caring for people with the highest level of need.

She will be introduced at the RCI's 2008 Awards Banquet on Oct. 23 in Americus, Ga.

Treadwell will receive a gilded rose and a check for $1,000 presented by Rosalynn Carter.
