A 68-year-old Columbus man was robbed at gunpoint Friday while at a gas station.

The victim told police that around 10:30 a.m. Friday, he stopped at the Marathon gas station at 2061 Fort Benning Road. He was sitting in his truck when two young men asked him for some change, then walked away.

That's when the suspects turned around, pointed a silver pistol at him and demanded money, the victim said.

The two young men took $140 from the victim and then ran towards Commerce Street and Shelby Street, the man told police. He was not injured during the robbery.
