Columbus trucker honored by FedEx for safe driving

Truck driver Eric Carter of Columbus has been honored by FedEx Ground, the small-package ground delivery service of FedEx Corporation, for achieving 10 years of safe driving without a preventable accident.

Carter has been a professional truck driver for 11 years with FedEx Ground.

FedEx Ground has more than 20,000 vehicles on the road. Three times, the American Trucking Association has recognized fedEx Ground with the President's Trophy, the industry's most prestigious honor for safety.
