National Fishing Week is June 6-13 at Georgia state parks.
Many around the state provide fishing equipment.
Several fishing tournaments are planned.
This Saturday there is the Junior Fishing Rodeo at A.H. Stephens Park in Crawfordville, Ga. and the Children's Fishing Rodeo at James H. Floyd State Park in Summerville, Ga.
