A Hardaway High School student went to the hospital on the Fourth after being hit with an ax, Columbus police said.
The teen was inside a Lynda Lane home around 8 a.m. when struck, reports state. He had a punctured knee cap and cuts to his left and right palms.
The teen went to St. Francis hospital, police said.
