Local business owners are invited to a summit on threat preparedness and response.
The all-day event will focus on developing a “culture of preparedness” within your business. Participants will learn about minimizing downtime in the event of a major disaster, increasing the safety of employees and customers, minimizing loss of revenue and more.
There will be four speakers, including Dave Grossman of Warrior Science Group and and Dave Hubbard of America’s Fitness Coach.
The event is Friday, July 31 from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Cunningham Center for Leadership Development, 3100 Gentian Blvd. Breakfast and lunch are included.
The summit is presented by the University of Georgia Small Business Development Center, the Columbus Office of Homeland Security and the Greater Columbus Chamber of Commerce.
