Carmike Cinemas will hold the "Harry Potter" marathon starting at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Carmike 15 in Columbus Park Crossing, 5555 Whittlesey Road.

The marathon begins with first movie, "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," and ends up with "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix."

The marathon costs $15 for five movies.

After the fifth movie, the theater will get ready for the midnight showing of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," the sixth movie in the series.

Tickets are $9.50; discount tickets will not be accepted.

Carmike Cinemas' marketing director Dale Hurst said there are plenty of tickets still available. A second theater will be opened if the first one sells out, he said.
