Bishop James King to lead teaching session Thursday

Bishop James King of the South Georgia United Methodist Conference will lead a teaching session at 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2101 Wildwood Ave.

It is open to all churches in the Columbus District, and also to the wider public.

King has been the South Georgia bishop since 2008 and previously served as Bishop of the Louisville Area, which includes the Kentucky Annual Conference and the Red Bird Missionary Conference. The South Georgia Conference has offices in Macon, where King lives, and also St. Simons Island.
