The Enrichment Services Program in Columbus is setting appointments today to help the elderly and disabled with their heating bills.
ESP has received federal funds to help low income families in Georgia with their home heating bills. To apply for the assistance, an applicant's yearly income must be less or equal to 200 percent of the federal poverty guidelines. Applicant must also provide a copy of a most recent heating bill, proof of income and valid Social Security numbers for all household members.
Three clerks are available to schedule appointments. Appointments for the general public is set for Dec. 1.
