Columbus police have arrested and charged one man in connection with Tuesday's robbery of the BB&T on Whitesville Road.
Police Lt. Lynn Joyner confirmed this morning that investigators have placed a man under arrest for allegedly robbing the 6100 Whitesville Road bank around 2:30 p.m..
The suspect walked into the business and held it up at gunpoint, police said. No one was injured and no shots were fired.
More information about the arrest is forthcoming, Joyner said.
