    A treat once considered a fall tradition at Columbus’ old Chattahoochee Valley Fair is being offered again this year at another venue. The Exchange Club of Columbus’ foot-long hot dogs will be for sale this October at the Columbus-Fort Benning Shrine Club on Edgewood Road. The club’s annual “Foot Long Hot Dog Jamboree” will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 12 through Oct. 14 at 3202 Edgewood Road. A hot dog alone will cost $6. With a bag of chips and a drink, it’s $7.50. Customers can get meals to take out or dine at the Shrine Club. Call phone-in orders to 706-341-1947 or fax them to 706-561-0994.
