The Main Street Christmas Light Show Extravaganza on Poplar Street in downtown Macon has 250,000 lights timed with Christmas music. The light show was made possible by a grant from the Downtown Challenge fund of the Community Foundation of Central Georgia, funded by the Peyton Anderson Foundation and the Knight Foundation, and NewTown Macon.
Police were dispatched Saturday morning to "a possible homicide" at a residence at Villa North Court, according to a Warner Robins police news release. Crime scene investigators remained on scene late Saturday afternoon with a section of the road blocked by a police car.
