Andrew College has a new president, and he is no stranger to the two-year liberal arts college in Cuthbert, Ga.
David C. Seyle, the interim president, was approved by the Andrew Board of Trustees Wednesday to become the 21st president. After joining the college as chaplain in 1991, he accepted the post of dean of the college and professor of religion and philosophy in 1995. He also is chairman of the Committee on Colleges of the Georgia United Methodist Commission on Higher Education and Campus Ministry.
His wife, Claudia Seyle, is associate professor of humanities at Andrew, where she has served for 16 years, and is leading the effort to revitalize campus grounds.
