Police in LaGrange, Ga. have arrested Kimberly Hurston, 37, of LaGrange and charged her with aggravated assault after in incident that sent a LaGrange man to the hospital in Atlanta for treatment.
Police responded to a call on Revis Street at 10:25 Wednesday evening after receiving a report of a stabbing. The officers found Napoleon Truitt, 41, of LaGrange cut several times on his head and arms.
The initial investigation revealed that Hurston had gotten into a physical altercation with a woman, Teresa Parks, during which time she grabbed a broken piece from a drinking glass and began swinging it aimlessly resulting in Truit receiving several lacerations to his head and upper extremities.
Truitt was treated on the scene by medical personnel and later flown to the Atlanta Medical Center for additional treatment.
