Opelika police have arrested one other man as part of an undercover drug investigation that netted 18 people earlier this week.
Police arrested Kenneth Littleton, 41, of Opelika, Wednesday morning and charged him with two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, Capt. Allan Elkins said.
Littleton was one of 26 suspects identified as part of a three-month undercover drug operation into the sale of controlled substances conducted by the Opelika Police Department, Alabama Beverage Control Board, Alabama Bureau of Investigation and Lee County Sheriff's Office.
During July, August and September, undercover officers purchased quantities of marijuana, crack cocaine and powder cocaine from a number of street-level dealers in Opelika.
Eighteen residents of Opelika and Auburn were arrested Monday and Tuesday on drug charges.
The charges are a Class B felonies. If convicted, those accused face two to 20 years in jail and no more than $10,000 in fines.
