An Auburn bank was robbed by an armed man Tuesday night, police said.
An employee of Charter Bank on Moores Mill Road told Auburn police that she was closing up and leaving the bank for the night when a man approached her.
He had a handgun and forced the employee back into the bank and demanded money.
He took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the bank, according to a news release.

The suspect is described as a black man, approximately 35 years old, 6 feet all and 150 lbs., wearing a blank Atlanta Falcons shirt, grey sweatpants and white tennis shoes.
The case is under investigation by Auburn police and the FBI.
