A seminar titled Water Conservation Issues will be held at 10 a.m. EST Jan. 24, at the Alabama Cooperative Extension System/Russell County at 508 14th St., directly across the street from the Russell County Courthouse in Phenix City.
Bill Deutsch, director of Alabama Water Watch Program, will present the program. Deutsch will cover drought-related issues such as how to be prepared for a drought, what to do when a drought hits, what homeowners can do during a drought, and rooftop drain water collection. He will also explain the Alabama Water Watch Program.
