Aflac's education and leadership programs got the company a spot on Training Magazine's annual top 125 list for the eighth year in a row.
The supplemental insurance company appeared this year at No. 33 on the list of best companies providing career development for employees. That's 13 spots up from last year.
"As we continue to develop our corporate training offerings, it is validating to see our workforce build their careers using resources and knowledge we help them to obtain," Audrey Tillman, Aflac executive vice president and director of corporate services, said in a statement.
Aflac was honored for its professional development courses, such as the Aflac Leadership Academy for company management and the Health Insurance Program for high school students.
It was also lauded for its personal development sessions. Topics span from budgeting and saving to buying a house for the first time.
Companies that apply for the magazine's list must submit a survey that highlights executive coaching, leadership development, sales training, diversity programs and more.
The complete list will appear in its March issue. Training Magazine is a publication for human resource and training professionals.
