"American Idol" fans will see this season's top 24 singers tonight, in a one-hour episode that concludes the reality TV show's Hollywood Week.
Tuesday, some 164 singers performed for the judges in Hollywood. The show, in which contestants were allowed to use musical instruments, marked a departure from the drama-ridden group performances that in the past have characterized the Hollywood round. Instead, singers performed one at a time.
Ultimately, pool was narrowed to 50. Tonight, viewers will watch the judges reveal the final 24.
The show starts at 8 p.m. on Fox.
