Four contestants will be sent home on tonight's episode of "American Idol."
This week, the remaining 20 singers performed '70s music and for the most part received lackluster reviews from the judges. While teen David Archuleta -- a former "Star Search" champion -- solidified his role as this season's front-runner, other semifinalists suffered. Memorable train wrecks included Jason Yeager's "Night at the Roxbury"-inspired take on "Long Train Runnin'" and Amanda Overmyer's botched rendition of "Carry On Wayward Son."
Multiple contestants are susceptible to elimination on tonight's show, which begins at 8 p.m. on Fox.
Will it be attractive, yet dull, crooner Luke Menard? Britney Spears impersonator Kady Malloy? Biker nurse Overmyer?
Get reporter Sonya Sorich's answers to those questions, as well as the skinny on which male contestant has allegedly been wearing a wig this season, on the "American Idol" blog at www.ledger-enquirer.com. The blog will be updated "live" throughout tonight's episode, so be sure to check in often for consistent updates.
