Associates from St. Francis Hospital delivered 450 Easter baskets to six area agencies today as part of the Adopt-A-Bunny program at the hospital.
The program, in its 12th year, is headed by the mission awareness team at St. Francis. Shannon Cork, project manager, said they meet with the agencies in early January to determine the needs. After, they create tags whcih associates take indicating the child's needsand fill the baskets.
Each basket has a variety of school supplies, candy, small toys and other necessities.
"We can get children things they need as well as something they want,"Cork said.
Baskets were delivered Thursday morning to the Department of Family and Children's Services, the Children's Tree House, Open Door Community House, Damascus Way, Hope Harbour, and The House of Mercy.
