Despite heavy morning rains, events at Columbus State University's 50th anniversary celebration Saturday continue, with venue changes for some events.
The staff council craft fair, with a few dozen vendors, is in the Lumpkin Center until 4:30pm and the book signing with Reagan Grimsley, CSU archivist and author, is in the Lumkin Center until 11:15am.
The homecoming student cookoff was moved to a tent beside the parking garage and the homecoming tailgating was moved to the third floor of the parking garage.
The fireworks, originally scheduled for Friday, are still scheduled for tonight at 8:30pm, weather permitting. They will originate from Woodruff Park.
