The Phenix City Council unanimously reappointed Paul Stamp to the Phenix City School Board during Tuesday's council meeting.
Stamp, 55, a Phenix City businessman, was selected in 2006 to fill the unexpired term of the late Carl Rodney Walters. The term was scheduled to expire in June.
"He has done a wonderful job filling the unexpired term of Rodney Walters," said Mayor Jeff Hardin. "He has a real heart for that board and we're looking forward to his continued service on that board."
Stamp works at Leatherwood and Sons Body Shop in Phenix City and has been actively involved in school activities for many years.
