A Talbot County man is dead after a Tuesday wreck in front of the Roosevelt Warm Springs Institute for Rehabilitation.
Randy Holloway, 46, of Talbotton was driving south on U.S. 27/Georgia 41 around 12:50 p.m. in his red Nissan Frontier pickup truck, said Operator Puckett with the Georgia State Patrol and Meriwether County Coroner Johnny Worley.
"It crossed over the yellow line and collided with a dump truck," Puckett said.
The wreck, which happened in front of the 6391 Roosevelt Highway facility, spun the man's pickup 200 yards up the road toward Warm Springs. The dump truck, which had been traveling north, stopped in front of the institute.
"He was entrapped, and they had to cut him out," Puckett said.
Holloway was airlifted to The Medical Center of Central Georgia, Worley said, where he went into cardiac arrest in the operating room. He was pronounced dead at 4 p.m.
