One bar patron got a bullet to the backside when he was trying to relieve himself early Sunday morning.
Terrance Averett, 22, stepped outside of the G & C Boom Boom Room, 2102 Cusseta Road, at 2:45 a.m. to use the bathroom in the parking lot, Columbus Police Lt. Charles Kennedy said.
That's when a black man in his 20s stepped up with a revolver.
"He said, 'You know what time it is. Give up your money,' " Kennedy said.
Never miss a local story.
Averett ran and was struck with a bullet. He went to his home and was taken to The Medical Center by his sister.
Officers went to the hospital and spoke to Averett, who told them he didn't know his assailant and wouldn't be able to recognize him if he did see him again, Kennedy said.
The suspect is described as standing 5-foot-8, weighing 170 pounds, and wearing black clothes with a cap over his eyes and a T-shirt over his mouth.
