The early morning rain Sunday left the Chattahoochee Valley recovering and drying off.
An example of some of the watery changes is evident in one of the lakes in Beaver Run subdivision in Midland.
The rain came so hard and so fast that the drainage system was taxed and couldn't handle the water as planned.
The result is that the lake water got backed up to yards and over the top of several docks on the lake.
Never miss a local story.
Check out these photos of three docks at the lake.
If you have any photos showing high water from the river, lakes, streams or creeks, send them to firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll put them on the site.
