Seemingly everyone was there. Hank Williams Jr. told of stepping out from his father's shadow in one classroom, while Oprah Winfrey and author J.K. Rowling could be found in the cafeteria, telling students their life stories. Even Elvis made an appearance.
These celebrities, and many historical figures, were brought to life for a few hours Friday morning by fourth grade students at Lakewood Elementary School in Phenix City, who created a wax museum of sorts throughout the school.
The students remained motionless until someone stepped on or touched a small chip in front of them, when they began reciting information about their chosen character.
