A Valley, Ala. woman reported that her house was broken into Friday afternoon.
The woman told Valley police that she arrived at her home on 26th Avenue at around 12:30 p.m. and found that her house had been burglarized, according to a police department news release. Police did not release the name of the woman.
While she was in front of her house, the suspect left the home and confronted her, armed with a handgun. The suspect then fled the area in a pick-up truck.
Detectives have identified the suspect and are actively pursuing leads.
