Sunday drivers won't be pulling over in front of Columbus' Fourth Street Baptist Church when the city posts signs warning of a new "no parking" zone there.
City councilors approved the parking ban at their Tuesday meeting. The church requested it, saying members had trouble crossing the street to get to Sunday services.
In effect from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays only, the law prohibits parking along Fifth Street between Second Avenue and Third Avenue.
Fourth Street Baptist Church is at 222 Fifth St.
