Phenix City school board member Eddie Lowe has been re-appointed as a trustee for Alabama Risk Management of Schools.
Lowe was appointed to the position by the Alabama Association of School Boards and will begin his three-year term on July 1.
ARMS is a self-funded risk management program that provides automobile, errors and omissions and general liability coverage for school boards. It works with schools boards to develop strategies to limit their liability exposure and help prevent costly losses and litigation.
Lowe has been a member of the Phenix City School Board since 2000 and is senior vice president of the Columbus Bank & Trust of Russell County.
