National Football League player Rod Hood will be in Columbus to run his football camp June 18-20.
It is the fourth year for the camp sponsored by the United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley.
Hood is a former Carver High, Auburn University athlete who plays for the Arizona Cardinals. He and other NFL players will teach fundamentals to the children.
The camp is a unique opportunity for children ages 8-18. It will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will cost $85 for all three days.
The fee includes a T-shirt and meals.
