A soldier lost his money to a gunman Saturday night at a North Oakley Road ATM, Columbus police said.
The 25-year-old Fort Benning soldier was at 100 N. Oakley Drive around 11:20 p.m. when a man approached him with a handgun, Lt. Lynn Joiner said.
"He robbed him of his money, cell phone and car keys, but he did not take his car," Joiner said.
The soldier wasn't injured and no shots were fired.
The suspect is described as a black man, 20- to 25-years-old, standing 5-foot-10 and wearing black jeans, a black shirt and a baseball cap.
