LaGrange authorities are trying to locate the owners of several recovered stolen items believed to be taken in a recent rash of burglaries.
The police department's criminal investigations division has been investigating sveral thefts in the areas of Hill Street, Barnard Avenue, Thorton Street and Curran Avenue. Detectives have solved several of those cases and recovered multiple stolen items to include lawn mowers, line trimmers or "weed eater," blowers and a car stereo.
Detectives are having a difficult time locating the residents to which these items belong. The seized property is currently being held at the LaGrange Police Department at 100 Haralson St., LaGrange, Ga., 30241.
Residents who's property has been stolen are strongly encouraged to make police reports so that they can claim their belongings.
