At least two of the bullets Marcus Green shot from an AK-47 entered the South Seale Road home when he opened fire early April 25.
Eight people were in that home — six of them children — though no one was killed. Caught a week afterward, Green was charged with eight counts of attempted murder.
On Monday, the 28-year-old Columbus man pleaded guilty to four counts of attempted murder and one count of shooting into an occupied dwelling. He was sentenced by Russell County Circuit Court Judge George Greene to four concurrent life sentences and 15 years in prison.
