Little Blessings Nurturing Center, a private, nonprofit corporation that provides a quality educational experience for low or no income families in Columbus, is holding its annual Clay Target Challenge on Oct. 4.
The Clay Target Challenge will be at Buckland Farms in Juniper, Ga., and is open to shooters of all levels.
The challenge has been designed by world-class shooters, said event chair AJ Morris.
"We plan to enhance the format this year to include at least half the targets in a traditional sporting clay structure coupled with the Fantastically Fun Flurry targets from last year, plus another twist," Morris said. "Enhanced wobble trap games plus skeet targets are also in our sights. We are working with Nonie Eakle and David Edwards to make this year's event suit all shooters. We will also have some interesting games to enjoy besides the main event."
The fee is $150; $300 for teams.
