A Cusseta Road business was robbed Monday morning during a heavy rainstorm, Columbus police said.
Two men entered Jeff's Fine Foods, 2109 Cusseta Road, at 11:30 a.m. One was armed with a black, semi-automatic pistol. The suspects robbed the store then escaped onto Andrews Road as rain poured down, Lt. Lynn Joiner said.
One suspect is described as a black man, 5-foot-10 and weighing 230 pounds. He was wearing black shorts and a red, white and black shirt with an emblem on the front left.
The second suspect is described as a black man, 5-foot-11 and weighing 140-170 pounds. He was wearing a dark quilted jacket over a black and white striped shirt, dark shorts and a camouflage hat.
