If passions run high, the rhetoric could fly like french fries at a food fight Saturday as the Fraternal Order of Police hosts a candidate forum at its 8827 Heiferhorn Way lodge.
Earlier reports listed the street address as 8404 Heiferhorn Way. The local FOP's Karl F. Eidam Lodge No. 9 has a post office box numbered 8404, but its street address is 8827.
Among those expected to attend the 8 a.m. forum are candidates from both Harris and Muscogee County, including those running for sheriff, Chattahoochee Circuit Superior Court Judge and district attorney, and those vying for seats on Columbus Council and the Harris County Commission.
