Center James Vincent, the second part of Northside High School's towering inside presence, has decided to play his college basketball at Georgia State University in Atlanta.
Vincent, who is 6-foot-11, 265 pounds, selected the Panthers of the Colonial Athletic Association after a visit to GSU last weekend. He selected Georgia State over UAB, Florida Atlantic, Savannah State, Southern California and Auburn among a host of scholarship offers.
Vincent's commitment comes less than a week after Torin Walker, his 6-10 complement in the Patriots' frontcourt, selected Oklahoma State as his college destination. Vincent and Walker will make their selections official during the early signing periiod, Nov. 12-19.
