A large storage shed at Park Hill Cemetery went up in flames this afternoon, though no one was injured.
The structure, which is near the rear of the cemetery, caught fire around 6:35 p.m., said Columbus Fire and EMS Battalion Chief Les Talley. The fire's cause wasn't known Sunday evening.
"Investigators are on the scene," Talley said just after 8 p.m. "It is under control. It is out."
It took about 45 minutes to control the fire, he added.
Talley said it appeared the shed was completely destroyed, based on accounts he heard throughout the day. The shed was used to store equipment.
