The four men charged in connection with the shooting death and subsequent burning of a Columbus man at Flat Rock Park pleaded guilty today just as their trial was beginning.
Robert Hancock and Frank Ravenel pleaded guilty to murder in the Aug. 10, 2007, death of 28-year-old Aubrey Hector. They both received sentences of life plus 10 years.
Kyle C. Klamer and Vincent A. Clegg pleaded guilty to armed robbery and concealing the death of another. They both received 20 years in prison and 10 on probation.
Michael R. Jarvis and James L. Stewart, who were also arrested in connection with the crimes and were scheduled to testify under a plea agreement, are expected under that agreement to each get 15 years for manslaughter.
