If you have direct deposit at CB&T, for funds that normally post after midnight Wednesday, an unknown number of these deposits had not been made as of mid-day Thursday.
The bank is aware of the problem. Laura Seavers in the bank's marketing department said a technical error with a vendor caused the glitch. "Thankfully it was caught quickly," she said.
It is not known how many people, or company payrolls, are affected, Seavers said, because the vendor works with banks across the country.
CB&T employees are manually entering the deposits made locally, which should post by the end of the day, Seavers said.
