Two Columbus residents suffered multiple gunshot wounds outside of an east Columbus nightclub Saturday morning.
At 2:10 a.m, Columbus police were called to a shooting at Fat Tree's Club at 2101 Schatulga Road.
Police said they found Greg Morgan, 29, with five gunshot wounds in his legs and shoulder. He was transported to The Medical Center, where he was undergoing treatment.
A second victim, Shelia Lynette Lacy, 29, was shot eight times and brought to the hospital by a private vehicle.
Injuries to both victims do not appear to be life-threatening, Police Lt. Lynn Joiner said.
An investigation determined there was a fight inside the club right before shots were fired in the parking lot.
Witnesses described one gunman as a black male, 27 years old, 5 feet, 8 inches tall with a medium build and brown complexion. He was wearing a black baseball hat and a white t-shirt over a black t-shirt.
Police said there could have been more than one shooter.
