A man died this morning in a two-vehicle Interstate wreck in Chambers County, Ala.
Wayne Prather, age unknown, was driving his Honda Accord south at 6:45 a.m. CDT around Exit 77 when John Collier, age unknown, lost control of his Cadillac Escalade while he was driving north, said Trooper Phillip Ray, with the Opelika Post of the Alabama State Troopers.
Collier drove through the median, colliding with Prather in the southbound lane.
"The accident is still under investigation," Ray said.

Collier was taken to the hospital. No charges have been filed.
The wreck snarled southbound traffic for close to two hours, Ray said. While Prather's car did have some type of medication in it, none was spilled onto the highway.
One northbound lane was closed for about 30 minutes.
