A Fort Mitchell man died today after crashing his motorcycle into a utility pole in Phenix City, Russell County Coroner Arthur Sumbry Jr. said.
Curtis James Bader, 21, was riding on Woodland Drive when he crashed at about 8:45 a.m. today.
Bader was rushed to The Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 1:13 p.m. from blunt force injuries to the head.
Sumbry said Bader was wearing a helmet and speed may have been a factor.
