An oil painting of Columbus High Principal Susan Bryant, valued at close to $5,000, was stolen from the school over the weekend, police reported.
Officers met Monday with Bryant, who told them a staff member discovered the painting missing that morning.
"It is probable that the portrait was removed over the weekend," the police incident report said.
The school has an alarm system and security cameras, but several people had access to the building over the weekend.

The case will be followed up by school security and Columbus police.
