As the Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta celebrates its 40th anniversary, there will be a free performance at noon Saturday.
The Main Street Players, the 8-year-old regional company from Griffin, Ga., will present “Clue, The Musical.”
There is a full day of events, some free, others ticketed, on Saturday. Go to www.woodruffcenter.org for more information.
In 1968, the Woodruff Arts Center was created as a memorial to patrons of Atlanta’s arts community who died in an airplane crash at Orly Airport in Paris while on a museum-sponsored trip. Including crew and other passengers, 130 people were killed in what was, at the time, the worst single plane aviation disaster in history.
