There's still time to get rid of those old cans of paint and other household hazardous waste products today.
The household hazardous waste & electronic equipment recycling project continues until 1pm today at the Columbus Consolidated Government Recycling Warehouse, located at #25 22nd Avenue, off Victory Drive in Columbus.
Volunteers are on hand to unload a variety of items brought in, including paints and solvents, lawn care chemicals, cleaning products, and automotive products.
You can also drop off a variety of electronic equipment, such as computers, printers, fax machines, copiers consumer electronics, and telecommunications equipment.
Never miss a local story.
The project is part of the annual Help the Hooch project, which began Friday and concludes this afternoon with a celebration at Golden Park.
More than 11,000 volunteers have participated in the project this year.
